How to Resize an Image to 1080 × 1080
Learn when a square 1080-pixel image is useful and how to resize while keeping the aspect ratio in mind.
Use Toolvuno’s Image Resizer and check the result before downloading.
Open Image Resizer →1. Open the image resizer
Choose an image from your device. Check the original dimensions before changing them.
2. Set the dimensions
Enter 1080 for width and 1080 for height when you specifically need a square output. If aspect-ratio lock is enabled, unlock it only when stretching is acceptable; otherwise crop to square first using an image editor.
3. Preview the result
Resizing changes pixel dimensions, not necessarily the subject framing. Check that faces, text and important details are not stretched or cut off.
4. Download and verify
Save the resized image and confirm its dimensions in your device or upload form. Some platforms may resize or recompress it again after upload.
Important to remember
A 1080 × 1080 image is square. If the original is not square, simply forcing both dimensions can distort the image; cropping first is usually better.
